Checkout is at eleven. Your next room is ready at three. That leaves a perfectly good afternoon in Bali—and a suitcase you would rather not take to lunch. Hotel bag holding or dedicated luggage storage can bridge the gap; the better choice depends on where you are heading next.
First, ask the hotel you are already in
For a few hours between stays, the simplest solution might be downstairs. Ask reception whether they can hold your bags after checkout and when you need to collect them. If you are coming back past the property anyway, that could be all you need.
The equation changes when your next stop is across Bali, or you are disappearing to an island for several nights. A free bag-holding arrangement is less useful if collecting it means a long journey in the wrong direction.
Choose the collection, not just the drop-off
Picture the day you get your bags back. Are you heading to the airport, returning through Sanur, or moving into another Canggu rental? Start there, then work backwards.

Give yourself the afternoon back
